Georgia Considers Allowing Its Residents to Pay Their Taxes Using Cryptocurrency

Senators Michael Williams and Joshua McKoon in Georgia state have proposed a bill that would allow citizens to pay their tax obligations in cryptocurrencies, including but not limited to bitcoin. Senate Bill 464 aims to amend Georgia state tax laws in order to require the state revenue commissioner to accept cryptocurrencies for payment of taxes and license fees. The crypto accepted by officials then should be converted into fiat currency within 24 hours.

Also such a huge step forward to cryptocurrency was made earlier this month by state of Arizona, where similar bill was also proposed to Senate.
